About PI:
Dr. Gozde Tutuncuoglu

Dr. Tutuncuoglu is an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Wayne State University since 2021. She is the director of Novel Materials and Devices Lab. Before joining Wayne State, she was a researcher at Microsoft Quantum Labs in Delft, Netherlands, focusing on developing robust and scalable approaches for the realization of topological qubit devices. Prior to Microsoft, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology to study the thermoelectric properties of Si nanowires, electronic properties of Si nanowires and fabrication of nanowire transistors, with a special emphasis on reliability, scalability and device-to-device variation. She holds a Ph.D. from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, with her dissertation on "The Growth and Optoelectronic Properties of III-V Nanostructures".
